Evoking aromas for a client's new line of scented candles was the challenge designers Roxanne Ault and Amy Elder (AAM Design Group) faced when creating the labels which would adorn each glass jar container. For the cinnamon candle, food stylist Kim Hartman baked up a killer batch of sweet rolls with icing lovingly drizzled for maximum appetite appeal. The setup was shot on 4x5 color transparencies on Monday, reviewed Tuesday morning, scanned, retouched and delivered ready for press on Tuesday afternoon.
This and two other shots (Ice cream cones for Vanilla and lattice-top cherry pie for Cherry) completed the job on time and on budget.
Once the final files were approved, a pot of fresh coffee accompanied the props for a late afternoon sugar fix.
