Pictures at an Exhibition

The Vivid series of annual concerts of Roosevelt University's outstanding student performers with guest artists continued with Vivid 07, performed on March 26.

Once again, the concert itself had to be shot exclusively with available light and silently to prevent any distractions. Being a long time fan of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition helped tremendously, as the piece's frequent bombastic passages could be anticipated and used to mask shutter noise.

Pre and post concert receptions were also shot, and the finished disk of 183 high and low res images was shipped the following day.
